Born into a Bedouin Arab family, Wagdi was raised as a Muslim in the Sudan. In 1982 his life changed dramatically after accepting Jesus Christ as Lord. First he was persecuted and then arrested along with two Christian friends for refusing to renounce Jesus as Lord. All three were sentenced to die. His friends were executed but when they came for Wagdi he made a miraculous last minute escape and went into hiding until 1985 when he flew to England. In 1988 he came to Canada and has pastored Arabic churches in Calgary and Edmonton.  Wagdi is associated with ‘Truth Unlocked.’

Having grown up in a Muslim culture Wagdi shares from a deep love for Muslims. He has a great desire to see them come to know Jesus personally. He will share how to understand the Muslim mind-set in order to have an effective witness with them.

Truth Unlocked - Truth Unlocked is a group of Evangelical Christians who see the growth of Islam in North America as a great opportunity to reach these people for Christ.  We believe that fear is one of the greatest obstacles to sharing our faith and that fear, when combined with ignorance, can lead to hatred.  

Truth Unlocked: Keys reaching your Muslim Neighbor is an attempt to break through the barriers of ignorance that keep us afraid of evangelizing the Muslims that we encounter in our everyday lives.  We are not scholars, nor are we experts, we are just regular Christians who feel a calling to help other Christians reach out in love to Muslims here in North America and around the world.
