Dignity House Inc.
Dignity House Inc. provides long-term transitional housing and mentorship for women who have experienced human trafficking, sexual exploitation, trauma and addiction. Operating out of homes in safe communities within Winnipeg, Dignity House offers a compassionate and supportive environment that allows for healing and personal growth, setting itself apart from traditional institutional settings. As the only agency in Manitoba offering this level of care, Dignity House is a refuge of hope for women bravely seeking to rebuild their lives. Through mentorship, trauma-informed care, and the development of life skills, women are empowered to transition into recovery, re-enter the workforce, and reintegrate into the community. Over the course of their residency, which typically lasts a couple of years, these women experience profound life change and the opportunity to embrace a brighter future, rooted in hope, dignity, and the love of God.
