Missionfest Manitoba is an incorporated, not-for-profit charitable organization founded in 1989. The original mandate was to facilitate a three-day gathering of churches, educators, mission organizations, and individuals from the Manitoba community that would inform, inspire, and encourage the participants to become increasingly engaged in fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission.
Missionfest Manitoba serves as a catalyst, bringing ministries and missions together with churches and individual Christians. While ministries and missions are dependent on the larger Church and do not exist apart from the Church, these ministries have a wealth of vision, experience and knowledge that are of benefit to the wider Church. We create a space for the Church and these ministries and missions to interact, and aim to provide the average church member a repository of missions research online.
In all this, may Jesus Christ be glorified and His Kingdom come.
